Presented by Lord Ashcroft KCMG PC, this short film tells the story of the courage of Flying Officer Lloyd Trigg, VC, DFC, who is believed to be the only recipient of the VC as a result of evidence solely supplied by the enemy. Trigg’s decoration was awarded posthumously after he and his air crew were killed during their attack on a German U-boat on August 11, 1943.
