Ashcroft Technology Academy’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme has won the International Baccalaureate State School of the Year 2025 award, announced in The Sunday Times,.
The award recognises the outstanding academic achievements of International Baccalaureate students at the Academy, celebrates the holistic education provided in the Sixth Form, and highlights the exceptional teaching standards which set the Academy apart.
In 2024, International Baccalaureate students at Ashcroft achieved an impressive average of 38 points, and they progressed to Russell Group universities in the UK and prestigious universities in the USA and Europe. This level of academic success and progression to competitive university courses is a hallmark of the Diploma Programme at the Academy.
The International Baccalaureate programme at the Academy is designed to develop well-rounded, globally minded students, and it therefore provides a balance between rigorous academic study with creativity, critical thinking, and community service.
The Sixth Form offers both the International Baccalaureate Diploma and A-Level courses, welcoming students from across London and the Home Counties. In 2024, over 50% of all grades achieved across both A-Level and the International Baccalaureate Diploma were graded A/A* or 6/7.
