Michael Ashcroft has been a successful entrepreneur for nearly forty years.
His business career began when he was in his late twenties. In 1977 he became Chairman of The Hawley Group and within less than a decade transformed it from near collapse into the UK’s leading business service company employing over 100,000 people. Following a US merger in 1988, Hawley was re-branded ADT. In 1997, he negotiated the sale of ADT to Tyco International for more than $6.7 billion (£3.7 billion).
He was a Director of BCB Holdings, a financial services company operating in Belize, until May 2011.
Other business interests include significant investments in healthcare, recruitment and support services (Impellam Group and Restore plc), new media focussed businesses (WeAre20:20 plc and Go-Spoken and Waterloo Investment Holdings Limited (Caribbean and Central American Investment company).
Michael Ashcroft is also seeking new investment opportunities with entrepreneurs who have good strategic plans and plenty of drive and enthusiasm.
